The process of calculating aerodynamic parameters using the panel method in computational fluid dynamics involves analyzing the surface of the wing to determine its behavior in various conditions. To aid in this process, NASA has made available hundreds of wing profile libraries that can be manually loaded into the software. When designing a wing profile, the user can select a profile from the library and combine it with their own design to create a unique and optimized wing shape. This can greatly improve the efficiency and performance of the aircraft.
