This project aims to showcase the application of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) with adaptive modulation in Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems. The analysis and simulation are carried out in two distinct stages.

In the first stage, a variable-rate variable-power MQAM technique is applied to a Single-Input Single-Output (SISO) OFDM system. This technique allows for flexible adjustment of the transmission rate and power levels based on the channel conditions.

The second stage involves the implementation of adaptive modulation in a general MIMO system. This is achieved by utilizing the Singular Value Decomposition method to decompose the MIMO channel into multiple parallel subchannels. By doing so, the system can adaptively allocate resources and optimize the transmission parameters for each subchannel based on the channel characteristics.

Overall, this project provides a comprehensive analysis and simulation of OFDM with adaptive modulation in MIMO systems, showcasing the benefits of these techniques in improving system performance and spectral efficiency.
