dtc using dutyratio control by fuzzy logic

详 情 说 明

Direct Torque Control (DTC) with duty ratio control using fuzzy logic is an advanced method for improving the performance of motor drives. Traditional DTC relies on hysteresis controllers to directly regulate torque and flux, which can cause high torque ripple and variable switching frequency. By integrating fuzzy logic with duty ratio control, the system achieves smoother torque response and better efficiency.

Fuzzy logic helps adjust the duty ratio dynamically based on real-time error signals in torque and flux. Unlike fixed hysteresis bands, fuzzy rules evaluate the degree of error and decide the optimal voltage vector duration, reducing abrupt changes. This approach minimizes torque ripple while maintaining fast response—critical in applications like electric vehicles or industrial automation where precision matters.

The combination of DTC and fuzzy-based duty ratio control also enhances robustness against load variations and parameter uncertainties. By softening the transition between voltage vectors, motor noise and mechanical stress decrease, extending the system’s lifespan. Future directions may explore AI-augmented fuzzy systems for adaptive rule tuning under dynamic conditions.
