In this project, we will focus on using MATLAB to simulate the flow around a cylinder. Specifically, we will be using Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) for a two-dimensional (2D) D2Q9 flow. By implementing LBM, we can accurately model the flow behavior and analyze the physical phenomenon behind it. Additionally, we will explore the various parameters that can impact the flow, including the Reynolds number and the diameter of the cylinder. Through this project, we hope to gain a deeper understanding of fluid dynamics and the computational methods used to model them.
