In the context of facial recognition, one of the most popular techniques is PCA (Principal Component Analysis). This technique relies on a solid theoretical foundation, which is covered in-depth in the updated version of Appendix C in the PCA manual (now available as Appendix_C_PCA_.rar). Additionally, to help users fully understand the application of PCA in facial recognition, we have included matlab source code to supplement the theoretical concepts. By providing both the theoretical background and practical implementation, we hope to equip users with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively utilize PCA in their facial recognition endeavors.
